Our Process & Facility
The Crushing Process
Kernel Sourcing & Procurement
We partner with smallholder and commercial palm farms across Osun, Ogun, and Ekiti states. All incoming kernels are weighed, sampled, and tested for moisture and shell content before acceptance.
Pre-Cleaning & Drying
Kernels pass through rotary drum separators to remove debris and shells. They are then conditioned in steam pre-heaters to optimal moisture levels for maximum press efficiency.
Mechanical Pressing
Our high-capacity screw presses crush pre-conditioned kernels under controlled pressure and temperature, extracting crude oil while producing palm kernel cake as a co-product.
Oil Clarification
Extracted crude oil passes through a series of settling tanks, filter presses, and centrifuges to remove solids, moisture, and impurities before storage.
Quality Testing & Analysis
Every batch undergoes rigorous QC: Free Fatty Acid, moisture & impurities, colour, iodine value, and saponification value are tested in our on-site laboratory before dispatch.
Packaging & Dispatch
Certified CPKO is transferred to ISO-compliant steel drums, IBCs, or bulk road tankers. PKC is bagged or loaded in bulk. All dispatches come with Certificate of Analysis and delivery documentation.
